Course Description
Pattern making is the technical backbone of fashion design. This masterclass teaches you both primary methods used in the industry - flat pattern drafting on paper and the art of draping fabric directly on a dress form.
You will learn to draft slopers from scratch, manipulate patterns to create diverse styles, and understand how to grade patterns for different sizes. The draping module covers working with muslin to develop creative three-dimensional forms.
By the end of this course, you will be able to create professional-grade patterns for blouses, skirts, trousers, and dresses.
